Stoney Dudebro is a born and raised Ohioan who has undergone a California metamorphosis. Stoney relocated to Stockton, CA to start the New Year in 2017 from Akron, OH, for a career promotion. Immersing in self-study as he and his wife adjusted to life in a new place with no support system he ended a nearly 5 year drought of recording music.

During the lengthy hiatus from music Stoney graduated college, married his high school sweetheart, and found an ideal “9 to 5”. Performing at the highest level in his corporate role he was drowning in a dark, negative, hostile environment which began to affect him mentally and emotionally. He was honored as 1 of 12 employees out of 1,200 for performing at such an extraordinary level. Eventually, Stoney decided his happiness was no longer worth sacrificing for a paycheck.

“Music is something I have always loved but in 2012 I decided to close the chapter and begin focus on becoming a provider and husband. I experienced big life achievements during that 6 year hiatus but in my darkest times that thing that I love called music was my release and escape from the toxic work-life balance I was enduring”, says Stoney.

When asked about the bitter ending Stoney expands, “I thought I was on a certain path and that path was illuminated with the safety and security of a typical 9 to 5 type career. Work here X amount of years work your way up, transfer here, transfer there, get promotions, make money, get 2 weeks vacay every year – 3 if you’re lucky, etc. etc. and that was the path that I had come to grips with. However, I just could not endure what I was enduring any longer. So in that darkness – music, weed, and self study helped me put things into perspective.”

“My life’s mission is to inspire others and create positive change in the world through my music, and, I’m going to do that by sharing my life experiences including the pain I feel from being betrayed by Corporate America. No matter how hard you work or how much effort you put in – you’re replaceable. You’re just a cog in the wheel.”, says Stoney.

Stoney has combined 13 years of music experience with a business degree and a whole lot of “exotic NorCal trees” to give you a unique, inspired musical journey. Stoney’s vast experience includes working, performing, or collaborating with: Demrick, Forgiato Blow, K Young, Machine Gun Kelly, Florida Georgia Line, Darius Rucker, Brooke Hogan, T Mills, Mod Sun, Blackbear, LeBron James, and more.

“I sowed all 2018 so I can reap in 2019… my debut album, multiple music videos, website, logos, and merchandise are done and coming very soon.”
